I went down to Venice, CA with my bro yesterday to attempt a real photo shoot. It turns out being a photographer is harder than I thought; I’m missing the key ingredient, which is being fearless enough to snap photos of random people.

I’ve put up photos from last summer’s trip to Denmark and my Saturday trip to UCSC. I got lazy and didn’t finish titling the West Denmark photos; may be I’ll finish those up sometime later.

I’ve added Photos, which are linked to my Flickr account. It still needs a bit of work but it should be pretty usable. (By the way, I’m using the Flickr Photo Album plugin for Wordpress.)
Here we are, version 10: new host (Dreamhost!) and new software (Wordpress!). In the tradition of our most despicable politicians, I’m going to put forward the vague, unaccountable promise to try and make the site slightly more interesting and slightly less campy. (If I was really ballsy, I’d make the site about something, like anime or architecture, but I don’t want this thing to be a frickin’ job.)
You might be able to tell that I’ve come to really hate the word “Kustace,” mostly because no one can pronounce it, and the actual pronunciation is… well, what the hell was I thinking? I used to rename every version of my site with something starting with “Ku,” but ever since I bought a domain it’s been stuck at “Kustace.” Anyway, from now on it’s just a straight-up address, nothing more, capisci?
