California based CMS Products, Inc. has announced that it is now offering 30 day trial versions of its “Instant PC Recovery” products via download from its website. Both its BounceBack Ultimate and Bounceback essential will be offered as part of the trial offer that allows consumers to run the software for 30 days after its initial installation. Other websites will feature downloads of the products, as well, in an effort to allow those downloading to choose a source they trust.

The software is intended to be downloaded to a USB-connected external hard drive in order to create an externally bootable backup for a laptop or desktop computer. The software is a first in the user-end market to offer users the ability to recover data lost in a hard drive crash instantly. By keeping their data separate from their computer’s internal hard drive, BounceBack allows users to continue working from their external USB-connected hard drive without experiencing any data loss.

BounceBack Ultimate uses highly secure file-level AES 256-bit encryption that the company believes will offer users peace of mind. It also includes options that allow for synchronization, multi-destination backup, scheduling and versioning. Support for Windows XP and Vista is offered, in addition to features such as application throttling, quick restore, continuous data protection and true open file backup support.
